Dalbeattie Community Initiative has a new home.
The community group can now be found at a bigger base at 16 High Street, previously the home of an insurance broker.
As well as providing a base for the staff and volunteers, it also allows for a bigger shop and visitor information point.
Initiative chairman Ian Wilbur said: “It’s much more pleasing on the eye. It was quite a pokey little window that we had before. It’s done really well since it re-opened which was as soon as we could open after we were allowed.
“I think this is the third or fourth week and it does help having that bigger space.
“We have the shop at the front, which has a focus on local crafters and our offices are in the bigger space at the back.”
