Sundaze in the Park was a big success in Dalbeattie.
The afternoon was organised by the town’s Civic Daze committee and saw the crowning of Civic Queen Grace McQuarrie.
There was also the ever popular duck race with an incredible 1,000 ducks sold.
The race was won by a duck from Kirsty Smith.
Revellers were also able to enjoy performances from Ballet Box dancers and Galloway Pipes and Drums with the tea and beer tents doing a roaring trade.
