Celtic target Daizen Maeda has claimed he is 'not a good player' when asked to profile himself.
Maeda has netted 18 goals in 35 games in the J-League this season, superseding the top scorer spot from current Celtic striker Kyogo Furuhashi.
Ange Postecoglou has already hinted that he is aware of the striker's availability, without denying speculation of a potential move to Parkhead.
The 24-year-old is in good form for the Celtic boss' old outfit Yokohama F Marinos, who are second in the run in of the J-League season.
The Parkhead boss insisted that any new additions to his team will have to understand the mentality of the Scottish Premiership.
Speaking to Sportiva Shueisha, he said: “I have a lot of chances [in front of goal].
"I have a lot of chances and there have been moments in which I could score more, but I didn’t. After it, I try not to think too much about it.
"Nightmares can come. I cherish that. Even if I miss the shot, if someone scores a goal and the team wins, I feel comfortable, but if I miss it and lose, it can be dragged.
“I run for the team, and do it crazy. If you lose that, you’re done. I’m not a good player, so I have to work hard all the time to compete with a good player.”
