Daisy and the Trouble with Sports Day by Kes Gray - review

Kes Gray, Daisy and the Trouble with Sports Day (Daisy Fiction)

Daisy is a bit of a tomboy, like me, but she doesn't really like sport. The only race she wants to take part in on sports day is the multi-skills or the 60 metre sprint.

But then her best friend Gabby breaks her leg and what she wants to do more than anything is to win the race for Gabby. This means she has to train really hard and has a lot of trouble doing this.

The book has lots of little pictures and codes on every page, with a 'trouble index' at the back that you can check to find out the meaning.

I really liked this book and can imagine reading it again. I would like to read other books about Daisy because she is quite funny. I think people aged between 5 and 8 years would enjoy it. Even though it is about a girl, I think boys would like it too. I would give it 5/5.
