Rangers have agreed a £2.75m transfer with Hannover 96 to sign Daisuke Yokota.
The Japanese winger is set to join the Ibrox club this week on a long-term deal.
It's understood the clubs have reached an agreement over the transfer move, with Yokota ready to travel to Glasgow to finalise his switch to Scotland.
After talks in recent days, Yokota is expected to head to Glasgow on the eve of Rangers' Europa League qualifier against Jagiellonia Bialystok in order to seal the transfer.
Derek McInnes has been keen to add creativity to his squad this summer, especially after Nedim Bajrami and Oliver Antman completed transfer exits.
Now, Yokota is set to pen a long-term contract with Rangers as he fills a void on the right wing for Rangers.
Colombian winger Camilo Mena is another player who has been linked with Rangers. It's thought the player is on a list of possible transfer targets but no talks have been held with his club Lechia Gdansk.
