Leon Edwards’ victory over Rafael dos Anjos in the main event of UFC on ESPN 4 was a statement victory.
His one-sided decision over the former UFC lightweight champion announced to the world he’s near the very top of the welterweight division. Roberts has won eight in a row and 10 of 11, with his only loss in that time coming to current champ Kamaru Usman.
Clearly, his next fight should be against one of the division’s big guns. But who? Options include a rematch with the champion, former champion Tyron Woodley whenever he’s set to make his return, and another streaking competitor in Jorge Masvidal.
