Daichi Kamada to be 'offered new contract' amid Everton transfer speculation

Reported Everton target Daichi Kamada is said to have received a contract extension offer from Eintracht Frankfurt as the Bundesliga side look to keep of one their prized assets.

The Japanese attacking midfielder has scored six goals in 12 appearances in all competitions this campaign and helped Frankfurt clinch the Europa League last season, scoring five goals on the club's way to securing silverware.

Out of contract next summer, Sky Germany have claimed the 26-year-old has been given the option to extend his stay in Germany until 'at least 2025' and would become a 'top-earner' at Frankfurt should be put pen to paper.

Kamada is said to be on the Toffees' radar as he enters the final few months of his current deal, with Leeds United also said to be interested in the versatile attacker. Frankfurt are hopeful of keeping their top scorer at the club but will 'take the risk' to lose him as a free agent, Sky Germany have suggested.

Addressing his long-term future last year, Kamada told Bild: "There will certainly be some speculation, and I have an idea of which teams might be interested in me. In the current football world, nobody can predict what will happen in the future. All I'm thinking about right now is winning the next two games and nothing else."
