Dagenham crash: Pedestrian, 41, dies after being hit by lorry in east London

A male pedestrian in his 40s has died after being hit by a lorry in east London.

Police were called to Dagenham just after 3pm on Wednesday following reports of a crash in Oxlow Lane.

The victim, 41, died at the scene.

Police are still attempting to locate his next of kin.

The lorry driver stopped at the scene and is helping police with their enquiries.

No arrests have been made but detectives are appealing for witnesses or drivers with dashcam footage.
