Daft.ie rental listing is looking for 'vaccinated' housemate

A listing in Cork on Daft.ie is looking for a tenant that's either vaccinated or partially vaccinated.

The advertisement for the single room in the four-bedroom house was posted on July 12 and it's available for anyone that has received the jab.

The property is located in Eagle Valley, Wilton, Co Cork and any potential tenant will be sharing the house with another person.

The rent that's being charged is €375 per month.

Last night, the Government signed off on legislation that will reopen indoor dining, pubs and restaurants to those who are fully vaccinated.

Under the new legislation, indoor dining will reopen in three phases.

Phase one will allow fully vaccinated people or a person who has recovered from Covid-19 allowed to dine indoors.

Phase two will see people allowed indoors with a negative PCR test and phase three will see those with a negative antigen test will be permitted inside pubs.

Tánaiste Leo Varadkar has said the Government is aiming for the laws to come into force next week - no later than July 26.

The legislation will need to go to the Seanad, then to President Michael D Higgins before it is signed off.

However, the decision was met by hundreds of angry protesters who gathered at Samuel Beckett Bridge in Dublin for hours between Wednesday night early Thursday morning.

Some protesters described the vaccines as "trial vaccines" while others said that Ireland was now being governed under "draconian laws."

Another person in attendance said, "this is not my Ireland" in protest of the Bill being approved.
