Dads climb giant crane and jump 100ft into harbour in 'stupid' stunt video

This is the shocking moment two fathers were caught climbing a 100ft crane before jumping into a harbour in a mindless stunt.

A clip shows the pair clambering up the machine in the Poole area of Dorset.

The men, identified online as Joe Butler and Stephen Bateman, were filmed carrying out the stupid act.

Mr Butler posted the video on Facebook tagging his friend Mr Bateman, with the caption: "Last night's antics."

The father admitted he had "popped" his shoulder from the fall and had to visit A&E.

In the comments section, he wrote: "Popped my shoulder out I think going to a and e in a bit. Batman can’t even get out of bed."

In the clip, the pair can be seen climbing up the crane in front of a large crowd who stopped to witness the action.

The men waited for a good minute before jumping straight down to the water, as the crowd erupted in laughs and cheers.

Dozens of users have lashed out at the video which has since received over 12,000 views with dozens of comments and shares.

Even his partner, Casey Yeo, expressed her disappointment telling Mr Butler he was an "absolute fool" for not thinking of their son, Jaylen.

She commented: "Think of our son Joe you absolute idiot.

"Imagine one day I have to tell him his daddy isn't around any longer because showing off to his mates was more important?

"There’s having fun and then there’s being an absolute fool.

"You’re lucky you got away with just a f***** shoulder, time to grow up now and think of how your actions could have severe consequences on Jaylen."

Another user commented: "Idiots."

Meanwhile, one added: "Think of your kids FFS."

Another wrote: "You wouldn’t think you both had children.

"Doing stupid shit to look cool and show off but what if something went wrong and you had to leave your beautiful children behind??

"Imagine being your children’s mothers having to explain that to your children one day. Absolutely disgusting."
