A dad has shared his horror after being targeted by racists for putting a Black Santa decoration in his garden.
Shocked Chris Kennedy received a vile note voicing disdain for the seven-foot Santa.
But as an act of solidarity, his neighbours are now putting up similar decorations to show that racism will not be tolerated.
Chris, who has a four-year-old daughter, livestreamed himself reading the note on Facebook, saying: "I am trying to be as nice as I can in this very moment because I am actually filled with rage."
The sick letter, which was signed "Santa Claus", read: "You should not try to deceive children into believing that I am a n****.
"You being jealous of my race is no excuse for your dishonesty."
The note was accompanied by an image of a white Santa with two thumbs down.
Chris, from North Little Rock in Arkansas in the US, told CNN that the person had meant to try and make him feel unwelcome in his neighbourhood.
"The real thing that angered me was the fact that the person who wrote it suggested I move out east where I guess they feel all black people live," he said.
Evan Blake, director of the Lakewood Property Owners Association's (LPOA), condemned the racist, saying: "People are buying black Santas and trying to flood the neighborhood."
He added: "Racism is something that we do discriminate against and we will not stand for it."
Chris, who moved to his current home in 2017, received the note just before Thanksgiving.
