Tributes have been paid to a "true legend" who died in a crash in Salford. Dad James Dickson, known as 'Dicko' to his friends, died following a smash between several vehicles in Little Hulton on Sunday.
Another man, in his 60s, was rushed to hospital with serious injuries. Police have arrested three people over the crash.
Emergency services were called to Manchester Road East just before 9pm. James, aged in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Friends have taken to social media to pay tribute to the dad "with the biggest heart". One wrote that Little Hulton had 'lost a legend', adding: "The most loveable rogue there ever was with the biggest heart. I will miss bumping into him and reminiscing about our younger wild days. Absolutely devastated."
Another close friend said: "He will be missed by all the Little Hulton firm, he was a true legend." Another penned: "My brother always shown me love whenever I saw him. Not stopped thinking of all the memories and good times what a guy, loved by so many and will always be in my heart brother."
Manchester Road East was blocked off in both directions between Bridgewater Street and Hilton Lane as police and forensics carried out an investigation. The main road was shut overnight.
A picture of James was shared with the Manchester Evening News. Bolton Coroners' Office confirmed a file in the name of James Dickson has been prepared.
Two men and a woman were arrested following the crash. A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: "At around 8.50pm on Sunday 19 June 2022, we received a report of a collision on Manchester Road East, Little Hulton. A man in his 30s was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. A man in his 60s was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
"Three people – two men and one woman – have been arrested in connection with the incident. One of the men and the woman remain in police custody for questioning."
