A dad has become an online heart-throb after transforming a dingy attic into the walk-in wardrobe of his wife's dreams in just three weeks.
Rodolfo Cabrera, from Maryland, US, wanted extra space for him and his wife Idaly to store their clothes and realised the empty space in their attic provided the perfect opportunity.
The incredible transformation from a dark, creepy attic to an Instagram-worthy closet took three weeks to achieve using supplies from hardware stores.
Rodolfo, who owns the Remodeling and Design LLC construction company, spent about £24,000 and roped in a team of workers to get the job done.
He installed a wooden frame for the walls before plastering drywall on top, and created shelves using wood planks.
A PVC laminate was used on the floor and the whole thing was finished off with a lick of paint in various shades of grey for a modern look.
Before and after photos of the transformation were shared on Twitter by Rodolfo's daughter Josdallana, with the caption: "Anyways my dad built my mom a closet in the attic."
It racked up more 439,000 likes, with many expressing their jealousy of her mum as one commented: "*adds handy man to my long list of dating requirements*."
Another said: "Can your mom fight?"
A third cheekily suggested: "He built her that room so she would spend more time up there and not bother him. He ain't slick."
The man himself Rodolfo explained: "My workers helped me out and they got paid for the help. For the closet, I used 2x4 for the framing and a drywall to build the walls.
"The shelves were made out wood planks. I used PVC laminate for the floor, which is a wood looking plank but it’s made out of plastic and other materials. It’s also waterproof."
