A non-tech savvy dad had a hard time with Amazon Alexa when he tried to ask it about Liverpool FC.
Tony Meacock, 58, attempted to engage Alexa in a conversation about the Reds title win - with hilarious consequences.
His son Anto, bought his dad the virtual assistant AI as a present, after Tony saw an advert for one on the TV.
Anto said: "I bought it as a present because he saw them on an advert on the television, so he can ask it to play his songs for him in the house.
"He loves his music - Elvis Presley and stuff."
But Anto never expected his dad, from Claughton Village, in Birkenhead to try and speak to Alexa, like she was a real person.
In the video, captured by Anto, Tony asks the AI: "Alexa I asked you before when did Liverpool-"
However Alexa cut off Tony, saying: "Sorry I don't know that one."
Tony hilariously responded: "I haven't asked you yet."
Alexa remained silent, whilst Tony continued: "We haven't won the league since 80 something 90.
"Well we're going to hopefully win the Prem this year, when did we last win the league?
"Which is the Prem really, but it's the league now.
"So what's the last time, well it wasn't the Prem then as you most probably know, when was the last time we won the league?
"Do you understand? It's not the Prem, the Prem's finished. No, we're winning the league now, so when was the last time won the league not the Prem."
A confused Tony continued to look at Alexa waiting for a response, whilst his son laughed in the background.
However, Alexa didn't respond, leaving Tony to say: "I think she's deciphering it."
Anto said: "I was in absolute stitches. When he says 'I haven't asked you yet' looking all confused, it was hilarious.
Asked if he was going to teach his dad how to use the assistant Anto said: "I think she'll just end up switching herself off if I don't teach him.
"He's starting to get the hang of it a bit now."
