The dad of a tragic mum-of-three who died during a Brazilian bum lift operation has been found dead, his family has confirmed.
Leah Cambridge, 29, passed away following complications stemming from a botched procedure carried out in Turkey in 2018.
Today it has emerged that her father, Craig Cambridge, was found dead at his home in Leeds, west Yorkshire, on Easter Monday.
He regularly posted about the loss of Leah on his Facebook page.
Leah's fiancé Scott Franks paid tribute on Tuesday in an emotional social media post, in which he described his father-in-law as a "top bloke".
He wrote: "Rest in peace Craig Cambridge, one top bloke. I'll never forget all the times you was there for me.
"We all love you so much, take care of Leah now mate."
Craig's niece Lisa Cambridge also posted: "Just can't believe it. Absolutely heartbroken."
The circumstances surrounding the death are not yet known.
An unnamed relative told the Sun: "We are devastated, but at least now he is together with his Leah again."
They added: "It’s just more heartbreak for the family."
Craig's daughter Leah died in August 2018 at the Elite Aftercare clinic in Izmir, made famous by US reality TV star Kim Kardashian.
The clinic also claimed to have worked with UK reality stars Lauren Goodger, Amber Dowding and Chloe Ferry.
An inquest at Wakefield Coroner's Court in 2019 heard Leah had three heart attacks on the operating table and died of a fat embolism.
The beautician saw the procedure advertised on Instagram, with Scott telling the court the op was described to him as a "guessing game" after her death.
His wife had saved up for the £6,500 op after becoming self conscious about her body, he said.
The risky procedure reshapes the buttocks by transferring fat from areas including the stomach and back.
