Tragic Shaun Woodburn's former football team is set to emblazon his name on their new strip in an effort to keep his memory alive.
Shaun was just 30-years-old when he died after being assaulted by then 16-year-old Mohammed Ibnomer early on New Year’s Day 2017.
As a youngster the late dad-of-one played for Leith Athletic FC.
The squad announced on Thursday that their 'special edition' kit will honour their former player and mark their 25th anniversary.
Shaun’s dad, Kevin, told the Record that all 400 children in the club will be wearing strips bearing Shaun’s name.

He said: “It was very emotional seeing the strips with my son’s name on them.
“Leith Athletic were Shaun’s first club and he stayed until he was 18 so it’s a great honour to see the children and adult wearing the strip.
"We were determined to do something that remembered Shaun in a fitting way and this is perfect.
"The strips will also be available for sale to anyone who wants one.”
It comes as Leith Athletic FC announced their first ever sponsor, the Shaun Woodburn Memorial Trust.
'Delighted' club chiefs hailed Shaun as a 'true Leither' who was 'taken away too early'.
A statement from the club read: "Leith Athletic F.C are delighted to launch our new special edition strip to celebrate our 25th anniversary and announce our new club sponsor.
"The Club is delighted to announce that the Shaun Woodburn Memorial Trustees will be the main sponsor for the whole club over the next two years.
"This is our first ever club sponsor and we are immensely proud that every player at the club will wear a strip with Shaun Woodburn’s name.
"Shaun joined the club when it was reformed 25 years ago and played all his boys club football with us before having a successful senior career.
"Shaun was certainly a true Leither and one of our own who was sadly taken from us far too early.
"The club would like to thank Football Nation, Leith Community Fundraising Organisation and the Woodburn family for all their support.

"We can’t thank you enough and look forward to seeing over 400 players wearing the new strip in the new season."
The news was welcomed by locals and supporters.
One wrote: "So happy we could do this .
"Shaun’s name and memory is forever with us in Leith Athletic."
Another commented: "That is one cracker of a strip with a superb, while sad, but uplifting story behind the sponsorship.
"Brilliant to all involved."
A third posted: "Great strip.
"Nice touch from family."
Killer Ibnomer's violent rampage outside Gladston'es pub in Leith left Shaun with fatal catastrophic head injuries.
Shaun’s dad, Kevin has tirelessly campaigned for victims’ rights since his son’s death.
