Dad mortified after accidentally buying daughter doll 'dressed like a stripper'

A dad has issued a stark warning for parents, after he bought his daughter a new set of dolls, only to discover their wholly inappropriate outfits.

Patrick Johnson, a Christian pastor, was mortified when he purchased some LOL Dolls - at his daughter's request - before opening them and realising their scantily clad costumes consisted of hot pants and fishnet tights.

"Be careful what you expose your children to," the dad, who goes by the handle @official.patrick.johnson on TikTok, explained in a clip.

Patrick could then be seen holding a Princess Tiana Barbie doll, from the Princess and the frog, which he said was a "nice little doll."

"I don't know what we doing these days, my baby wants LOL dolls and I'm upset y'all, look at these dolls," he exclaimed, before grabbing one of the dolls, which was dressed head to toe in fishnet.

He then went on to say that he thought it might just happen to be that particular doll that's outfit was a little risqué, until he pulled out a second doll and questioned: "What are we doing to our children, y'all?! We've got to be careful what we're giving to our girls!"

"This is what I wear to work... I work in a strip club," one TikTok user commented, while a second added: "Those ain't LOL DOLLS those some BBL DOLLS!"

Meanwhile, a third also commented on the shape of the dolls, adding: "Less concerned about the clothes and more concerned about the unreasonable body expectations of those dolls."

However, things went from bad to worse when Patrick pulled out some of the tiny baby dolls, which also appeared to be wearing racy fishnet outfits.

We're all for giving women the freedom to dress however they want to dress, but sexualising children's toys is not cool.
