Dad left with wrecked ceiling after letting kids do Joe Wicks PE class upstairs

A dad has urged parents not to let their kids take part in Joe Wicks' workouts upstairs after his ceiling was left in tatters.

Conor's children, like thousands of youngsters in the UK, have been doing the Body Coach's workouts to keep fit during the lockdown - but it came at a cost.

He took to Twitter to share snaps of the damage their work out had caused, and other people were shocked.

The picture shows his downstairs study, which is lined with art work and stacked high with books, in a state of utter despair.

Parts of the plaster from his ceiling had come loose and were left hanging at the edges.

He explained that he had noticed a crack in the ceiling the day before, and meant to ask the kids to do that day's workout elsewhere - but forgot.

Alongside the image, the dad wrote: "Don’t let your children do their Joe Wicks @thebodycoach upstairs!"

The picture racked up more 400 likes and a number of comments from people who couldn't believe what damage his kids had caused.

One confused Twitter user said: “Exactly how many children do you have?"

Another added: "Is this your house?! Oh no!"

A third commented: "What have they been doing it on? A trampoline???"

And others said: "Yikes" and "Well that’s not good!"

Probably best to keep the exercise routines for the ground floor.

At the start of the coronavirus lockdown the fitness influencer started his PE with Joe lessons.

The aim was to keep people of all ages moving and fit during these tough times - and that he did.

His 9AM workouts became a staple part of many families morning routines, especially when he started performing the routines in fancy dress.

Over the course of lockdown, Joe's PE classes raised over £350,000, which he donated to the NHS.
