A worried dad is desperately searching for his daughter after she went missing on a night out.
Sophia Veart was last seen in the Grassmarket area of Edinburgh by her friends at around 12.30am on Sunday morning.
Dad Martin Veart has launched a social media appeal for help to find his 18-year-old daugher, who has not made contact with family or friends since.
Thousands of people have shared his post in hope of finding Sophia, The Daily Record reported.
He wrote: "My daughter Sophia went out Saturday night in Edinburgh and did not return home.
"We were to go to Glasgow this afternoon for an important event.
"If anyone sees her, please tell her to get in contact. I’m very worried."

Police confirmed that Sophia was still missing first thing on Monday morning.
