As a parent, it's important that you form a strong bond with your children, and a way for many to do that is by showing children physical affection.
From hugging to kissing, it allows your child to know that they're loved and safe in your presence, and for the most part, people will not pass judgement on how you parent.
But horrible trolls have put their two cents in after dad Tom Leeds kissed his five-year-old son on the lips in a TikTok video, with some telling him that he shouldn't be doing that - but others jumped to defend him.

Tom, who posts on TikTok as @tom_leeds, was responding to a comment via video, complimenting his eyes, wondering whether he was putting a filter on his clips.
"I haven't even got the nicest eyes in my own house", Tom admitted, asking his son to join him in the video so watchers could see their amazing blue eyes.
"It's just not fair", Tom complained, as his son showed off his eyes, as he then said: "Gimme a kiss" and the pair sweetly pecked on the lips.
But the moment of affection didn't go down well with some, with one woman commenting: "Just gorgeous both but don't kiss him on the lips."
The controversial comment received over 300 responses, with most defending Tom and his choice, and Tom even defending himself saying that he'll continue to kiss his son on the lips, despite what the trolls say.
"I'm 54 and still kiss both my parents on the lips when I'm saying goodbye after seeing them. Also always say I love you!", someone shared.
"Really don't get why some people find this a problem it's absolutely adorable", another defended.
"Kiss your son on the lips as much as you want. Showing love is never wrong! He's only young once", a TikToker reminded Tom, and someone else said: "Don't see anything wrong here just pure love."
In a follow-up video, Tom also addressed the comment that had been made, sharing that he was horrified she'd picked up on that.
"I find it worrying that it bothers you", Tom said. "I will kiss my son, my five-year-old child, on the lips, as long as I deem necessary and as long as he lets me", he defiantly fumed.
