A handy dad built an incredible life-size pirate ship in his back garden as a birthday present for his young son.
Andrew D’Aubney wanted to do something special for Hudson's fourth birthday and set to work at his home in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, to make the huge galleon.
The 44-year-old wood supply and building firm owner had a major job on his hands also trying to keep the mammoth structure hidden so it would be a surprise.
Andrew, of TimberPro, took just a few weeks to finish the ship, which includes a waterproof roof so it's kept "nice and dry" all year round, reports YorkshireLive.

The ship contains a captains cabin and a covered main deck decorated with a pirate flag and and rigging.
Andrew even added a cannon, which he carved out of a round post, as well as a speaker with an audio box for seagull and ship sounds, and pirate music.
There is also a pier deck approach where "no muddy shoes" are allowed.

The ship looks just like the real thing, and nearby is even a gibbeting cage with a skeleton inside.
Once the pirate ship was complete, Andrew surprised Hudson with it a week before his birthday - and he was overjoyed, quickly donning his buccaneer costume.
The pirate fanatic has spent the last few weeks playing inside the ship with his pals.
He also asks if he can eat his dinner in the pirate ship cabin "most nights", Andrew added.
