If you've got a little one at home, you'll likely know the frustration that can come when getting them buckled up into their car seat, ready for a drive. Often you'll pop them in the seat, only to find they're sitting on the straps and it can be a struggle to pull them out from under them.
But thanks to one parent, you'll no longer have to struggle with this problem. A dad, who posts online as @lifehackdad, has shared a little-known feature he spotted on his child's car seat that is bound to make getting them in a whole lot easier - and many people couldn't believe they didn't know about it sooner.

In a clip posted to TikTok, the dad shows how there are little fabric tabs on either side of the seat - and the clips on the seat belt straps fit perfectly into them.
This keeps the straps securely out of the way so the child can be placed in the seat easier and have them buckled up faster.
The clip was captioned: 'Who was today years old when they realised?"
The video has since gone viral, garnering over 18 million views and over 700,000 likes.
Many fellow TikTok users admitted they also didn't know about the car seat feature.
One admitted: "It’s because none of us read instructions."
Another person joked: "About to force my 16-year-old back into a car seat to try this."
A third commented: "NOW YOU TELL ME. My eight-year-old is going back in the car seat just so mama can get a glimmer of satisfaction."
But others weren't sure how helpful the hack really was, with some saying they 'didn't have time' for it.
"Takes the same amount of time to put those in then to pull them out from a baby’s sides," added someone else.
