Dad battered mum holding their baby in her arms
A violent dad battered his ex-girlfriend while she was holding their baby in her arms.
Liam Wallace-Clark had only met his 13-month-old daughter for the first time that day because he had been in prison.
But he repeatedly punched his former partner, who the ECHO has chosen not to name, in the face, after she tried to call police due to his intimidating behaviour.

The 33-year-old then "cornered" her on a couch and said: "If you're sending me to jail I might as well kill you."
Liverpool Crown Court heard Wallace-Clark and his former partner, had known each other since December 2018.
Frank Dillon, prosecuting, said they had a "very short, three-week relationship", during which she fell pregnant, before Wallace-Clark was sent to prison.

Baby rushed to hospital with two skull fractures but explanation 'inadequate'
A baby with significant health issues was admitted to hospital with two skull fractures and multiple bleeds on the brain but 'no adequate explanation has been given'.
The incident came to light in a recently published Local Child Safeguarding Practice Review by St Helens Safeguarding Children Partnership (SSCP), which identified several missed opportunities to support the family.
The baby girl, a twin who had complex health needs related to being born prematurely, suffered the severe injuries in mid 2020.

Child G, as she is referred to in the review, and her four siblings have since been removed from their mother's home by St Helens Council's Children's Social Care (CSC) department, and placed in foster care.
Child G's mum had experienced serious mental health issues and had lost another child in the past, and the review noted there had been 11 referrals to social services between 2010 and 2020.

Police and forensics cordon off street and close road
Police cordoned off a street lined with homes after reports of an incident in Prescot, last night.
Shaw Lane was closed off by officers on Wednesday but it is not yet clear what sparked the large presence.
Neighbours have reported that shots were fired in the area but officers have not yet confirmed this.
Multiple police vehicles were at the scene.
