A woman and her dad have both just graduated from the same university course.
Katie Hedley and her dad James Ryan, both from Southport, finally celebrated their graduation yesterday - after it was postponed for a year due to the pandemic.
The pair studied the PGCE course at the UCLan centre in Southport.

Katie, 33, and James, 58, say they were both working in teaching roles and wanted to gain a new qualification.
James said: "I've been teaching for ten years, but only with the basic qualifications, and I decided I wanted to improve my skills.
"I was worried as I knew I'd be the oldest in the group, but it was just fantastic.
"Lifelong learning is what I'm all about, I'm the poster boy for it I think, you know, I'm still learning and every day is a school day.
"I'd definitely recommend it, if I can do it, anybody can."
Katie says she chose the course as she wants to work with young adults, teaching art and design and graphics.
James currently works as a carpentry and joinery lecturer and assessor.
