Dacia reveals new Jogger specs and prices

DACIA’S new seven-seater Jogger family car will cost from £14,995 when it goes on sale next year – and is available to pre-order now.

It will be powered by the budget Romanian brand’s new TCe 109hp 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, coupled with a six-speed manual gearbox.

It is capable of a top speed of 114mph, while the dash to 62mph takes 11.2 seconds. The official average fuel economy is given as 47.1 to 49.6mpg, with CO2 levels of 132g/km.

The boot offers between 213 and 1819 litres of storage space, depending on the configuration of the seats.

The entry Essential model includes manual air con, cruise control with speed limiter, rear parking sensors, automatic headlights, electric front windows, automatic emergency braking system and Dacia’s Media Control that utilises owners’ smartphones.

The Comfort, priced from £16,595, adds electric/heated door mirrors, automatic wipers, rear parking sensors with reversing camera, and 16in Flex steel wheels, interior satin chrome accents, central armrest with storage, electric rear windows, electric parking brake, keyless entry, automatic air con, blind spot warning, and an eight-inch media display with smartphone mirroring.

At £17,395, the special-edition Extreme SE introduces 16in black alloy wheels, front parking sensors, heated front seats and a Media Nav system with built-in navigation and wireless smartphone compatibility.
