DaBaby arrested: Rapper accused of 'concealing weapon' after concert

Rapper DaBaby has reportedly been arrested on weapons and drug charges after a concert in Charlotte.

The artist, real name Jonathan Lyndale Kirk, was detained for concealing a weapon and marijuana charges, report local station WSOC9.

The rapper hit back at police on his Instagram story, to his 8.3 million followers.

He accused them of targeting him 'everytime he is in the city'.

DaBaby wrote on Instagram: "Dirty a** police department try to take me to jail every time I got a show in the city."

Previously in the day, it had been revealed that the rapper would be sharing the spirit of Christmas before the gig.

DaBaby shared with his 748,000 Twitter followers that he would be "gifting presents to more than 200 kids before his concert tonight," making it a "Christmas to remember for dozens of families."

The arrest revelation comes a day after he was forced to deny that he had leaked a naked video of himself online.

He tweeted: “Ion send nudes"
