The Detroit Lions returned to practice at the team’s training facility in Allen Park on Tuesday missing several players. Eight Lions did not appear in the portion of the practice that was open to the media.
Most notable on the list is defensive end Da’Shawn Hand. He was the only projected starter sitting out Tuesday’s practice. Mike Daniels and Marvin Jones both participated a day after returning from time off.
The others sitting out:

- OT Tyrell Crosby
- OLB Malik Carney
- OLB Austin Bryant
- CB Teez Tabor
- QB Tom Savage
- DE Eric Lee
Now that training camp has ended, the Lions only allow the media to view a portion of the practice sessions. The rest of the time is closed access. We are unaware if any of the injured players listed above participated in that portion.
