D.R.A.M. says Drake jacked 'Cha Cha' to make 'Hotline Bling'

Drake, the dad-dancing Taylor Swift of the rap game, is currently under fire for an apparent jacking of D.R.A.M.'s "Cha Cha" without any indication of credit.

D.R.A.M. is currently in Drake's hometown of Toronto performing with Chance The Rapper's Family Values Tour and he's calling out Drake during the premiere of the "Hotline Bling" video.

Now, D.R.A.M. does have a point. Producer Gabe Niles teamed up with the Virginia-based singer/rapper to create "Cha Cha" back in Fall 2014. While "Hotline Bling" was released July 31, 2015 and is slated to be Drake's first number one hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. "Drizzy" even admit that it would be the "biggest moment" of his career.

"I spend my life trying to make waves for the city I am from. No accolades really matter to me other than the fact that I have never had a billboard number one," he wrote on his Instagram. "If I get my first number one during the month of October it will be the biggest moment of my career to date [in my mind] and if you are looking for me on that particular evening I will be passed out in the water slide that connects to our pool. I love you and thank you for these memories. I always love the moment right before it happens more than when it actually happens. So thank you... even if it doesn't."

Funny because for a song so remarkably similar, that has gained recognition from Rick Ruben, Beyoncé, Chance The Rapper and others, Drake is really trying to make the track seem like his own.

The producers of "Hotline Bling" Nineteen85 and Illangelo did not immediately respond to The Independent's request for comment.

Listen to both tracks side-by-side and decide for yourself:
