D.K. Metcalf leads Draft Wire’s final WR rankings

The Indianapolis Colts are likely entering the 2019 NFL Draft looking to add some depth to the wide receiver room. When they will do so remains a mystery, but there are several question marks with the unit.

Luke Easterling of Draft Wire released his final wide receiver rankings with two weeks to go before the big event. Here’s a peek at the top 10 players ranked at the position:

  1. D.K. Metcalf, Ole Miss
  2. Hakeem Butler, Iowa State
  3. N’Keal Harry, Arizona State
  4. A.J. Brown, Ole Miss
  5. Kelvin Harmon, NC State
  6. Deebo Samuel, South Carolina
  7. Riley Ridley, Georgia
  8. Marquise Brown, Oklahoma
  9. JJ Arcega-Whiteside, Stanford
  10. Parris Campbell, Ohio State

It remains to be seen if the Colts will invest heavily in the wide receiver position or whether they will stick to their trend of finding athletic projects later in the draft.

Metcalf isn’t expected to be available at No. 26, but there are plenty of prospects worthy of an early-round pick if the Colts were so inclined to make that type of investment.

It remains to be seen how the Colts will go about adding a wide receiver, but one of their nine picks should be used at the position.
