Seattle Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf is a big guy. He’s 6-foot-4, 230 pounds and towers over the other Seahawks receivers. So, yeah, he’s not exactly the kind of player who will blend in.
He still gave it a try, though.
Metcalf was ejected during Sunday’s Week 10 matchup against the Green Bay Packers after a fourth-quarter altercation with Henry Black and Eric Stokes. Metcalf grabbed the facemasks of both players and was ejected from the game. But there seemed to be some confusion over that ejection because two plays later, Metcalf actually tried to re-enter the game.
The officials noticed because, again, he’s D.K. Metcalf. He stands out.

Seeing that Metcalf was still on the field and in the huddle, an official went over to him and told him he needed to leave. When Metcalf returned to the sidelines, he did seem genuinely confused about getting ejected rather than trying to sneak into the game intentionally.
But still, the NFL is going to look into the situation because you need to leave the field after an ejection.

The Seahawks ended up losing, 17-0, and Metcalf blamed in-game frustration for that altercation. “Tired of losing,” he said to reporters.
