In a matter of months, we will likely watch as Chase Young takes the field for the Washington Redskins and hopefully lives up to the high standards that have been set for him.
Before all of that happens, though, there’s a chance we could be hearing from him on a Wale track.
While talking with popular D.C. rapper, Wale, after the 2020 NFL Draft, the two admitted to becoming very close as of late, and talking several times a week. Wale, who is very into sports and often ties them in with his music, hinted that he might bring Young into the studio sometime soon, letting him take part in the hook of an upcoming song.
When Washington selected Young with the No. 2 pick, they accepted him into the Redskins family. If Wale were to include him in a track, he would be accepted into the D.C. culture. I can’t think of a more exciting way to start your young career.
