D’Andre Swift participates in full contact drills

After a breakout 2018 season that saw him emerge as Georgia’s top running back, D’Andre Swift is poised for a 2019 that should see him mentioned among the best running backs in the country.

As the team’s primary backfield option, some may assume that coach Kirby Smart could be hesitant to allow Swift to participate in full contact drills with the season still nearly five months away. However, a tweet released by UGA’s football account seems to suggest otherwise.

Swift can be seen throughout the video multiple times participating in full-contact drills as Georgia’s offseason practices continue.

With G-Day coming up this weekend, Swift and others should have no problem adjusting to the hits that they’ll have to take as part of the college football grind.
