Czech Republic vs England odds: Jadon Sancho and Phil Foden can be the difference

England's place in the knockout stages has been secured but they will want to end the group stage on a high with a win and finish top in Group D.

Gareth Southgate's side are the favourites with Grosvenor Sport at 13/25 while Czech Republic are 7/1 and a draw is 14/5.

Patrik Schik will be the main threat for the Three Lions with him tied at the top for the Golden Boot tied on three goals with Juventus' Cristiano Ronaldo, Belgium's Romelu Lukaku and PSG's summer signing Gini Wijnaldum.

It has not been smooth sailing for England despite unbeaten in the group stages so far with a win and a draw.

The Three Lions have been criticised for not utilising their attacking options and playing a very defensive style of play despite having some of the most exciting players in the world at the moment.

They have only scored one goal in the tournament so far thanks to Raheem Sterling against Croatia in the group stage opener but failed to break Scotland's defence to draw 0-0.

Tips

  • Jadon Sancho to assist - 11/4
  • Under 2.5 goals - 13/20

We know how good Phil Foden is. The Man City player has been close on a number of occasions in the group stage but has been left frustrated with no goals or assists so far.

But Jadon Sancho not playing has left many people scratching their heads as to what needs to be done for the the Borussia Dortmund player needs to do.

Form wise he is superb - 36 goals and assists in 38 appearances this season puts him in the elite bracket of attackers at this tournament.

Yet, he is not starting and finds himself behind Foden, Raheem Sterling, Marcus Rashford and Jack Grealish.

With pressure slightly turned down with England confirmed with a slot in the knockout stages, Southgate will hopefully change things around and Sancho can give Kane the service he desperately needs.
