Cyrus Christie was called into the Ireland squad tonight after Enda Stevens was ruled out with an injury.
The left-back hurt his knee in Sheffield United’s defeat to Chelsea and will miss the games against England, Wales and Bulgaria.
“He was quite sore but everyone else is okay,” said Ireland boss Stephen Kenny today. The Ireland squad are based in Barnet ahead of the England clash at Wembley on Thursday and train at The Hive stadium tomorrow. Republic of Ireland Squad
