Cyprus's current citizenship-through-investment scheme has been used by criminals and fugitives to gain access to the European Union, Al Jazeera's Investigative Unit has found.
The Cyprus Papers reveals how among those that bought a Cypriot passport were convicted criminals, people on the run from the law and some under international sanctions.
