- Richard Smith, a 50-year-old cyclist, died in hospital on May 11, three days after he was allegedly deliberately struck by a car in Norwich.
- Mr Smith sustained serious head injuries during the incident on Chartwell Road on May 8, which was reported to police as a cyclist being intentionally hit by a white Mercedes CLA 180 Sport car.
- David Morgan, 40, has been charged with attempted murder and driving with excess alcohol in connection with the collision.
- Norfolk Police confirmed they would consult with the Crown Prosecution Service to review the charges following Mr Smith's death.
- Morgan was remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear before Norwich Crown Court on June 8; Mr Smith's family paid tribute to him as a proud father of three and a keen Norwich City Football Club supporter.
