Cyclist taken to major trauma unit after collision with bus in Battersea

A cyclist has been taken to a major trauma unit after a collision with a bus in Battersea.

Paramedics and police were called to Falcon Road at 8am on Tuesday following reports of the crash.

Passers-by were seen tending to the injured cyclist, a man in his 50s, as he lay on the road in the town centre.

The bus driver stopped at the scene.

Police said the man had injuries that were not life-threatening.

Scotland Yard has been approached for comment.
