A woman was taken to hospital after being hit by a car during rush hour on Tuesday morning.
The crash occurred at the junction of Adelaide Street, in Cardiff Bay at around 8.15am.
It resulted in heavy delays in the area.
Bus services were also affected with Cardiff Bus issuing this diversion.
A spokeswoman for South Wales Police , said: "A road traffic collision involving a car and a female cyclist occurred at the junction with Adelaide Street at 8.15am this morning.
"The cyclist was taken to the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, with suspected neck and shoulder injuries."
The Welsh Ambulance Service have also been asked to comment.
