Cyclist suffers serious head injuries in Leeds crash

A cyclist has been taken to hospital with serious head injuries after a crash in Leeds.

West Yorkshire Police officers were called to Hunslet Lane at 5.50pm on Monday, August 5, after the 33-year-old man was involved in a collision with a silver Mercedes.

Paramedics were also called to the scene and they took the cyclist to Leeds General Infirmary for treatment.

Hunslet Lane remains closed in both directions as it has been cordoned off by police.

This is causing long delays for motorists and several bus services are being diverted.
