A cyclist was seriously injured following a crash on Harewood Avenue in Leeds earlier today (May 27).
West Yorkshire Police have issued an appeal for witnesses to come forward, after the collision at the junction with Moor Lane.
A cyclist and a Volkswagen Golf were travelling along the road from the direction of Harewood and towards Wetherby at around 8.20am when they crashed.
The cyclist, a man, suffered serious head injuries.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "The incident happened at 8.20am and involved a cyclist and a Volkswagen Golf. Both vehicles were travelling along Harewood Avenue (A659) from the direction of Harewood and towards Wetherby when they were in collision.
"Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting log 293 of Wednesday, May 27."
