A cyclist in his 20s was taken to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries after being involved in a collision on the A64 York Road on Monday evening (April 15).
heading into Leeds following the incident, and police are now appealing for witnesses.
The incident involved the cyclist and a grey Ford Transit van, and occurred at around 5.50pm on the A64, opposite Walford Avenue.
After the incident the cyclist, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital, and a bike could be seen underneath a bus at the scene.
The collision happened close to a bus stop and pedestrian crossing, and police are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this collision.
