A man riding an e-scooter has been seriously injured following a hit-and-run crash in Salford.
Emergency services were called to Newearth Road, Walkden, at about 2.25pm today (Thursday, September 16).
The crash is reported to have involved a silver Ford Focus and an e-scooter.
Police say the Ford Focus failed to stop at the scene.

A man in his 20s, who was riding the scooter, has been taken to hospital with a serious leg injury.
Newearth Road has been closed in both directions following the crash.
Diversions are in place and bus services are being redirected along nearby roads.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "Officers were called at about 2.20pm today (16 September) to Newearth Road, Worsley, to reports of a collision between a car and an e-scooter.
"The rider of the scooter - a male in his 20s - suffered leg injuries and is being treated in hospital.
"The car - believed to be a silver Ford Focus - failed to stop at the scene.

A spokesperson for the North West Ambulance Service added: "We have responded to an RTC involving a car and a Motorbike/ebike at about 2.25pm.
"The rider, a man in his 20s, has been taken to hospital with a serious leg injury."
