A man riding a bike was rushed to hospital after being hit by a car.
Emergency services headed to East Road in Speke, near the Penketh Drive junction at 3.40pm on Monday, December 13, following reports of a crash.
Merseyside Police arrived at the scene to find a man on a bike had been hit by a car.

North West Ambulance Services were called to the scene as the cyclist suffered leg injuries in the crash.
The man was rushed to hospital.
Police closed the road at the junction of Penketh Drive and Speke Boulevard heading towards Widnes at around 4pm.
The road has since reopened to all traffic.
Merseyside Police are now appealing to anybody who witnessed the crash.
A spokesperson said: "We were contacted at 3.40pm today following reports of a road traffic collision between a car and a pedal cyclist on East Road in Halewood.
"The male cyclist suffered leg injuries in the collision and an ambulance was called to the scene.
"Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to DM @MerPolCC or @MerPolTraffic quoting log 640 of 13 th December."
