Cyclist rushed to hospital after horror crash with car in Aberdeen

A cyclist has been rushed to hospital following a crash in Aberdeen today.

Officers from Police Scotland were called to the A96 Inverurie Road near the Bucksburn roundabout at around 7pm on January 14.

The male rider was hurt in an accident with a car.

As a result of the smash the cyclist was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

His condition is not known.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “A spokeswoman for the police said: “Around 6.50pm on Thursday, January 14, officers were called to a report of a road crash involving a car and a cyclist on Inverurie Road, Aberdeen.”

Traffic Scotland confirmed one lane was closed on the A96 roundabout while emergency services attended the scene.
