A cyclist has been left in hospital with serious injuries following a collision on a Hillfoots road last week.
The 52-year-old man was rushed to hospital after sustaining a serious head injury on Thursday evening.
Police are appealing for information following the incident on the A91, between Menstrie and Alva.
Officers from Stirling’s road policing unit say the incident involved a van and a cyclist around 7.15pm.
The cyclist, understood to be local to the area, was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh where his condition is described as serious but stable.
The driver of the white Mercedes Sprinter van was not injured.
Sergeant David Ross said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen what happened and may have dash-cam footage that could help with our enquiries.”
