Cyclist in hospital after Upper Parliament Street crash in Nottingham

A cyclist has been taken to hospital after a crash involving a car on Upper Parliament Street in Nottingham this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the scene at around 2pm on Friday, March 12.

Police have confirmed the cyclist's injuries were not believed to be serious, but he was taken to hospital.

There have been no arrests made in connection with the crash.

Nottinghamshire Police said the road was partially closed by officers at around 2pm while they helped at the scene but the road was fully reopened just before 3pm.
