Cyclist in hospital after being found injured on Scots road

Emergency crews sealed off a road in Dundee after a cyclist was found injured.

Police were called to City Road on Friday.

The alarm was raised at around 2.20pm.

Officers found a cyclist injured at the scene.

They were rushed to hospital for treatment.

The nature of the cyclist's injuries and their current medical condition are not known at this time.

The circumstances that led to the incident were not disclosed.

City Road was later reopened.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were in attendance at City Road, Dundee, after a cyclist was found injured.

“Police and emergency services were called at around 2.20pm on Friday, June 4.

"The cyclist has been taken to hospital.

"The road was closed for a time.”
