A cyclist in his 20s has been taken to hospital after colliding with a lorry on the Pentonville Road on Friday morning.

Police and paramedics were called to the crash - which happened near the A-road’s junction with Penton Street, between King’s Cross and Angel - around 10.25am.

The cyclist, a man thought to be in his 20s, was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital.

“His injuries were assessed as not life-threatening,” said police.

“The driver of the lorry stopped at the scene.”

Police said enquiries are ongoing and urged any witnesses to call 101 quoting CAD 2296/16Feb.
