Cyclist dies after Goulburn crash

A cyclist has died after he was involved in a crash in Goulburn last week.

Emergency services were called to the incident after the cyclist on Auburn St and a utility travelling east on Mundy Street collided at a roundabout, last Thursday.

The 40-year-old cyclist was treated at the scene and airlifted to Canberra Hospital in a serious condition. He died about 4pm on Saturday.

The driver and sole occupant of the car, a 27-year-old man, was not injured.

Officers from The Hume Police District attended and established a crime scene, which has been examined by forensic police.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
