A cyclist has died after an accident near an Ammanford book shop. There were no other vehicles involved in the incident on Cwmamman Road, and police are appealing for witnesses.
It happened at around 8.45pm on Friday (May 6) outside the Discovery Book shop. Dyed Powys Police said that the 58-year-old male rider of the pedal cycle suffered serious injuries and died in hospital.
A spokesman said: "Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the pedal cyclist at the relevant time, or who may have dashcam footage if they travelled along this stretch of road at the time, to get in touch."
Local residents and business owners are also asked to contact police if they have any CCTV footage covering the location.
